1. The years don't matter, but depending on the university 6 -6 and half. The last 12 months is with salary don't know now but it was 1917birr when I was an intern. NB:- 4th yr is 2hrs a day class and 2-3 hrs practical and 5th year mostly practical except no payment. 2. Abt work, trust me if u r really pationate abt helping ppl n all yeah join it, if not,  medicine is not worth any other thing than passion. In the prvious yrs yeah. I graduated sep 30 and I had a salary oct 1 now is not like that there is no work and u have to go out of ur home town for work. Think of  the security and the politics of the country untill u finsh የት ሄደሽ ልትሰሪ ነው በዚህ chaotic ሀገር ዉስጥ ቤትሽ ቁጭ ብለሽ እንኩዋን ሰላም የለም. And the money 🤦‍♂not even half worth the risk. And also the respect. U can earn howmuch ever u like if u work hard in a any field and be respected. 3. Speciality,  there r two specialities የልብ ሲባል Cardio thoracic surgery which u have to become a surgeon and a cardio thiracic surgeon sub- specialist a total of 8-9yrs without the undergraduate. Cardiology which u hv to become an internist and a crdiologist  abt 6 yrs without the undergraduate. All in all Medicine is ያለፈበት ፋሺን አዚህ ሀገር execept passion as I said. And passion is worth ntn in this country. Its been long since I advised any body to join medicine.
