A second year here. I only have months of experience in the campus so take my ideas to a magnitude of a grain of salt, as I haven't experienced the hardships as most did, due to my limited time. I am replying cuz I see these questions almost everyday and the only answer can be, "it depends on what you want from the campus". Universities are amazing communities to discover yourself and passion so it's not only tied to the institution, but also the people. And also if you talk about the teachers and administration and other things, every university student would tell you to try elsewhere because, you know, we're in Ethiopia. Teachers seem like they're only here to make your life harder. But these teachers even work part-time both here and in AAU so it means you can never run away from them. So if you want the campus to give you something or some good experience, that won't happen here. But if you consider it an opportunity to do something you've already planned and use AASTU as a stepping stone, you can manage to get out of here experienced. Life can never be red carpets to heaven. But again, if you're here to here to get a degree to please your parents or get in to software for it's job securities, you probably won't survive.
