Why it isn't good to express your feelings to your girl best friend?

It's not that it's NOT good to express your feelings but it will be bad when both of you are not on the same page. You just have to make sure she have some intentions of it at least before you do it. Otherwise the road back home will be blurry of the tears in your eyes my friend.
