There is an argument that an increase GDP is not real measure of well being why ?

Because GDP as a whole might increase but what's the point if people are poor. For example dujibouty has a GDP of 3 billion while Ethiopia has a GDP of 110 billion but if we see the GDP per Capita or per person dujibouty has 2000 dollars while Ethiopia has only 960 dollars
