I know this gonna be flooded by med students regrets.. but asker please don't be confused. Most of them complaining are pupils who are just too lazy to put in the work.. so instead of sitting their ass to study, they whine about medicine. Yes there could be doctors who are not paid enough. But that is not true for everyone. And there are plenty of things to do besides the clinical job. So don't expect objective reasons. Nobody is gonna give you that.. just listen to your heart. Do your own research. Just because somebody studied med and became jobless, it doesn't mean that will happen to you. And trust me, if you truly have interest and you are willing to put in the work, it is a very rewarding field. So first get enough information about the education journey and the job life of a doctor. And then ask yourself: Do I want that kind of life? You not gonna find the answer to that question here.
