Jan 01, 2023Debit card is connected to your bank account and everytime you withdraw money from the ATM you are actually withdrawing from you account. And Credit card is issued with a limited amount of money(you make an agreement with the bank) and it is loan, which you'll have to payback later.

Currently only debit cards are available in Ethiopia, but I guess recently Awash Bank has started a credit card service (no sure tho)
