I'm a high-school student who wants to study web development(specifically front-end) and wanted to ask, is it manageable in Ethiopia? is the demand for web developers high or are there too many of them? how is the salary? input and some pointers from people in the field would be great.
Oct 01, 2020I don't think you will find a sustainable job as an employee. The best you could hope for is to organize a team and create some sort of company but even then i highly doubt that you'll profit from it because now days everybody is jumping on front end stuff since its easy and the courses are accessible so i highly advise you go deep into backend and database management stuff and then maybe you can stand a chance.

Oct 01, 2020Hi, i'm a programmer. So if you wanna learn coding for web dev(front-end) its not that hard its accually rather simple because there are many tutorials on the subject. In the matter of 💶 if you work with the right people you'll be rich in no time, but if you don't do large promotions and stuff its a bit hard to be noticed.

Oct 01, 2020Yes there is a demand and it is always growing, But instead of learning front end you should also learn server side programming which will make you capable of doing full stack. Also it would be good if you learn databse development cause many companies are going that way. I think Software Engineering is the field for you.
