Hey guys I'm joining university this year. I know it's too early but I want to decide on the field that I'm going to study. Growing up I have no interest in something specific but I've been a good student so far. My grades are not bad. More than 90% of student don't work in the field they studied. I don't want to wast my time if I'm going to be one of them. So I need you guys to recommend me a good field with good a salary. I need you guys to recommend me a field worth learning. Criteria: I don't want physics and chemistry to be my major

A good skill in IT and communication skill will take you places. If you haven’t noticed Ethiopia is changing so fast in Digital Transformation. The next ten years will be even more. If I don’t know what to pick I’ll pick IT.

I think you should choose something in tech. Since the future is in the hands of tech and it's a growing business. Plus you can make good money. Eg. Software engineering, Graphic design, Electrical engineering. But the question is how good is the education in Ethiopia and how competitive can you be.

If you gonna join a good university (1st generation), get into medicine or any other healthcare field.. if not, I think you should rather join certain social science field
