Let him be open to your or someone else in your family.. Danger starts when someone gets too secretive or very isolated. If a child couldn't find the honest relationship in the house, they will seek for it somewhere else.. so be open to him and let him be open with you. Get close to him and ask him about how his day was... and don't forget children mostly learn from actions. Be a better person urself so that he can take you as an example.

Tbh it's hard like if u were in there place u won't listen So give them something that make them busy and fun at the same time like reading a book or watching documentary of history geography animals ... and when they get at the age of puberty tell them things that they don't know before they get it from there friends or socal media like the bad things and sex like they can't do it before marriage and others ...

It just his age don't be to protective over him children of his age like doing the opposite of what they are told use that to your advantage. Be near for a advice but far enough for a punishment as well (not physical ).
