It depends Generally a good choice if it the following things are true 1. MOST IMPORTANT!!! You should be interested in the profession. You should be sure that you will enjoy studying it and also practicing it for the rest of your life. I am not saying you should be obsessed with it like since your childhood mnamn...but you should first try to identify what you really like to achieve, what goes well with your personality, your purpose, most importantly what you will probably makes you happy 2. You are in university. Not a good choice to study medicine in a private college 3. You are in a school where everything or most things are done according to schedule.. you shouldn't spend 9 years for a degree that normally takes 7 years. 4. And also consider other factors...for instance, consider your academic ability. Just because ur interested in it doesn't mean you will get it..make sure you have what it takes.
