I think the answer is pretty self-evident here. Tell him who you actually are. Because the fact that you refuse to disclose your identity has two implications and neither make you look good if he is a guy you are trying to get with 1. He may feel that he is being stalked. A fair amount of honesty is required from both sides for a conversation to work. For all he know, you could just be another guy trying to incriminate or take advantage of him. That for one makes him weary of the way he talks to you if not at all completely ignore your texts. That's not good. 2. He may think that you are a girl that is so unsure of herself to the point where she has to hide behind a mask to make a move. It gives off the vibe that you are not a confident person and that's not the impression you want a guy to have of you. Confidence is something we as guys find very very attractive. So, I say go on and tell him who you are, own your shit. And if your feelings or at least curiosity is not reciprocated, own that as well and move on. Rejections happen all the time and you, or anyone else isn't all that special. That's what makes people very attractive.
