Stop trying. It might be hard to hear but some things just wont change if ur actively trying to change them, and other things tend to get even worse. Note that this is not ur fault or it isnt bc u arent trying hard enough, some things r rly just like that. So, for now, just take a step back n let life do the work for u. Things tend to work themselves out when ur not trying. Btw idk if its appropriete for ur situation, but i recommend u read, The Power Of Now.
