Oct 22, 2022Enem yasasebegnal bro... I am 2nd year medical student. When I hear people saying you are studying your ass off just to get salary less than 10k, I just feel like I should drop out and run away. You wouldn't hear anyone in our country who has gotten what they want through education route. And you will hear people saying that they couldn't handle their finances though their salary is 10k per month. But I feel like we should listen to what people say. Ours journey is different. We are unique from one another. And education is so subjective. It is about what you make out of it. If you know your goal, keep going. Just know what kind of job you want to do in the future, how you want to use your degree, ...just know where you are going and then it will be fine, I guess. And one other thing I would say to you is have a side hustle. It could be something you may do part time or something you would turn to if you couldn't get a job by your degree. So don't listen the negative things people say. Do what you can now! Don't worry about what will happen 3 or 4 years from now. That's out of your control. Yes you are working for your future now. You can do that by doing the right things in the present. What you have is now. Keep going. Do the next right thing. Get the best grades you can possibly get. Get involved in volunteer activities and other non-academic or academics activities both inside and outside campus. Take online courses. Make your resume impressive. And for the most part, enjoy the journey, enjoy every single thing you are doing. Sorry if I made it long...Good luck!
