Selam alykum this is a question for Muslims who celebrate mawlid why do u celebrate it its considered a bida or shirk in most cases out prophet mohamed p.b.u.h didn't not tell us to celebrate it nor did he celebrate his own birth day during his life time this is a practice that Egyptians came up with so please be aware by what you are doing is wrong remember what the quran says it says "evrey bida is a misguidedance and evrey misguidedance is in the fire so be ware "
