You are seeing the glass half empty not half full. Do u have any idea how many patients have been saved with the same doctors that have made mistakes? Any country is on the shoulders of doctors, the military and farmers! This past months are the best times to show that. when the worst things happen to a country or the world, you are in the front line. No one else! Yea, AI could do that but that is most likely after generations and generations, and in addition there are things only ppl can do right now that computers can't and probably won't for a long time, uk stuff like experimenting with new diseases like the current pandemic and so. What you are missing is the joy you would feel when you save someone's life, no AI can give you that satisfaction

I didn't fully understand the qn u r asking gn I'll try to answer it. R u trying to compare AI with medicine as a study choice? If that is the case and if u r interested in health mnamn its better to stick with medicine, since learning programming/AI is simple enough to learn by ur self as a hobby negr. But if u r asking abt the interagency of AI in helping doctors, its still in development and improvement, which is also bit expensive to be practical (for now) currently running in a company level like IBM, which will take time. Anyways it doesn't hav to concern u that much. Gn it's so powerful and really helpful if implemented everywhere ...

😂 Doctors are not just tools plus an AI can help doctors but never replace them. Here's the thing... Being a doctor is so fascinating. Like you really get to see what you learn. Plus knowing how your own body works is quite amazing. If you are in to be a doctor only for the desire to learn its gonna be pretty cool. But if you are in for the salary, well you will die in med-school. But I still haven't answered my question. Why cant an AI be a doctor. Very very simple. Being a doctor is much about communicating as it is about diagnosis. You have to tell your doctor your true symptoms and while doing it never feel bad. Talking to a machine, well most wouldn't just be comfortable at least I wouldn't. Often patients disease could be psychological but again have ilness and symptoms. Patients might also be faking their sickness. That does happen. You dont know what kind of peoples are out there. An AI would only stick with the, you know, symptoms and may prescribe wrong medication. AI doesnt have feeling wheras Humans do. It simply wouldn't fit in the verse of doctors. Doctors arent just tools, however,they use tools. I like to think doctors as our body engineers. Engineers, be it civil or mechanical, build stuffs using their knowledge, they also fix those they build using their knowledge. Doctors dont know how to build a human but they know how to fix it. The first is the work of God. They know how to convey what they learn to real life like every other field. Many peoles have died and will die because of mistakes made by doctors. You may also kill a paitent in the future if you become a doctor. The Medical school stuff is there for you to learn a looot. Thats why its 6 to 7 years long. And no you're not being that critical, you're just discovering the field of doctor before you decide to be one. Btw I am also Grade 12. 😂

So what if they are?😶 the technology is not advanced enough to let an AI treat patients yet, so human doctors are mandatory...and yeah doctors maybe tools but they r tools for society..everyone is.. you would be helping your fellow humans...hope that helps😊

99 percent unhealthy people are saved by the hard working doctor's. The 1 percent may die by errors too ..it happens because you can't stop the mother nature rules.! And if you don't like to accept the consequences of being a doctor .don't even try to join medicine even if you are great in study's .! A lot of my friends have withdrawn their study's that they could have been successful in other study's . first you got to love saving people than being a doctor (just to be proud by the name ). U got to respect the profession first ..they can't be replaced by ai that have been made by humans ..God has already created natural intelligence doctors which you can't even compare the ai that is going to made after century's. .

Man , partially u have a point. But One thing medicine is not only a science but an art also. A gifted well trained doctor is the one with this skills. Skill as simple as taking history and digging what the patient is really trying to say is an art , not all will be able to do it effectively with training only. So ask you self do you have the sympathy to help the suffering ones. Second Dictors are inventors , when u go further in ur carrier: new surgical procejures , new mental therpies, new protocols , new medicine trails ....are all created by doctors. I dont think computers can do that

First of all I appreciate your hard work and to be genuine with about the AI stuff, AI can't feel the pain of the patients and it doesn't consider the attendants suffering at all the AI is GIGO(GARBAGE IN GARBAGE OUT) it always gives you back what you give, but we humans have soul and concise which is makes us best right? Beside this consider our environment it is not feasible to practice AI in medicine for 100% genuinely, but probably in the future when you become a Doctor you can buy or assemble an AI that can help you in treating and curing you patients. Keep fight for your passion though, never take any ones opinion seriously ok.
