hello here is my question for medical students and doctors.everybody knows that studying medicine has a tremendous load, is it true(as it's been said)? i mean is it that much arduous? And also for like how many hours do you study per day? and finally what is your advice for high schooler who wants to study medicine(for like what he has to do at highschool and what is needed from him)? i would be grateful for your answer.
Sep 21, 2022It isn't like how many hours u ll be studying. It's how much of ur life will be over as soon as u engage with medicine. U dnt need that much of any prerequisite to study or be a dr at highschool. Just study hard and get a descent result on ur entrance. My advice: dnt ruin ur life for something that isn't worth it. I know helping others is holly and satisfying but there are more things u can do easily to be satisfied and Holly. I dnt think i wud choose medicine if i had that choice again. And non of my friends except the very few disagree with me. And thank u for eliciting the pain. Good luck!
Sep 21, 2022One year into med school... ya it is hard and but it is very doable. Especially at our school we take exam every month.. so you would study consistently. But is it worth it? It depends on your goal and definition of success.. but I truly recommend you to join if you have big interest in it and you love helping people. I myself don't regret my decision.. there wasn't any other field of study that I could trust to give me a stable career... and don't forget that you can do nonclinical jobs after graduation. You can even change path and do your master's abroad. If you get a chance to study med for free and it is a good school, I highly recommend you to join. An MD degree from a good school will open up many doors for you.
