How can I receive letter to be sent from Bahirdar to Addis Abeba through the post office, guys? (must I open a post office box number here in addis ababa to receive the lettter) or tell me how can i do the process
Aug 27, 2022In short, No. You don't need to have a Post Office Box. The Ethiopian Mail Service (EMS) is what you're looking for. The person over at Bahir Dar will have to use the EMS form at the Ethiopian Post office branch in Bahir Dar and fill out your address and personal identification information and they will send it over to the Ethiopian Post office branch in Addis Ababa where you can go and fetch it showing your ID card. And settling remaining mailing fees if there are any.
