Sep 27, 2020I think u use "has" when u talk about the past standing on the present,(an action started in past that may have or haven't continued to present) Eg, it has rained all day While in "had" case, it's used to talk about an action completed in the past(talking about past standing in past) Eg, he had fallen asleep before she came in.
