You don't have to be ahead of anyone. It is not a race. Everyone is in his/her own time zone. No one is ahead and no one is falling behind either. Just make sure you are ahead of the person you were yesterday or a month ago or a year ago. Make sure you have improved yourself or your life. Don't do something just because to be ahead of anyone. And for now, I don't think you are expected to have money or a job. I recommend you to give your full energy to your education. Everything else will come step by step. Don't ask me why someone got a job without a degree. That doesn't mean you should do it. You shouldn't be worrying about that person. Just do what you enjoy. If you feel like you gonna be great at education and that you are enjoying it, make the best out of it and graduate with good grades. Along that, you can try to improve your life with regard to different things. As you said, you don't have friends; you can make friends if you think that's gonna improve your life. You can try your best to improve your life step by step, one thing at a time. You're not useless. Please don't be too hard on yourself. You got this! Stay strong!
