On something spherical, if u make a long straight line then turn 90 degrees and make another straight line equal in length with the previous one and again turn 90 degrees and do the same u'll make a triangle kinda shape but on a flat surface it will be something like an un finished square which has one missing side this has been tried and proved that the earth is round
