Ivy leagues is all about potential. Ofc good grades in GRE and GPA are needed and everyone that applies there has them. But to be there you’ve to show them you’re better somehow. One big thing that makes a difference is research. As a graduate student you’re expected to work on researches and prove to them that you’ve something that can make a difference. Participation in good research programs also shows a potential as a candidate. In short, bring something that makes you unique because everyone else that is applying have good grades and recommendations.
