i just voted because it is mandatory my answer is Both both, I've taken psychology course in UV, their are a lot of theories, one of them is called the psychoDynamic theory it states that childhood experiences play a huge role in personality "Development" and that human personality is governed by opposing forces like unconscious and conscious mnamn they have 3 models, 1, ID(animalistic behavior found complitly in the unconscious) eg: if you see cash steal it. 2, Ego(more rational and conscious than id, works based on the reality principle, its a diplomat between ID & SUPEREGO eg: if you see cash steal it, but only if you don't get caught) 3, Superego(the moral watchdog, develops later in life(preschool age), has moral constraint) eg: if you see cash try to find the owner and give it to him their are other theories like Psycho Sexual Development Theory
