Okay, why do people celebrate birthdays or even wish hbd? Celebrating because 1 year was deducted from your life is really pointless. Or is it because almost everyone else is doing it and it shows you are considerate? Anyone with a logical explanation for this? Fr I can't understand the benefit of doing it!

And obviously you would want people to wish you an hbd bc this is your big day. π And when people are wishing you a happy birthday it just shows that they are thankful that you were born on that day and they got to know you.
