Because Protestants have different teachings of Jesus christ. We belive he is unified Human and God. He is God who fully became a human in earth. The Protestants say other wise(not sure). Plus they only have 72 books we follow 81 books of the bible plus other books that the holy spirit gave us through our saints. Oh and not to mention, they don't belive in intercession of saints and Angels. Orthodoxy is very vast and has thousands of other books to support, emphasize, explain the bible and laws so that Christians don't get confused. Why can't y'all answer the differences with out being biased by your religion.... They both believe in Jesus but they have different beliefs about Jesus the orthodox believe they could get saved through Virgin Mary who gave birth to Jesus but the protestants believe they are only saved by what Jesus did on the cross and sheer Grace. That's why they have different churchs because they have different views. as for the Bible the orthodox church has 80 ahadu bible while the protestants have 66 that's because the protestants don't believe those additional books are from God.

Simply put, the main reasons are difference in interpretation throughout time and conflict among religious leaders. Even Orthodox in Ethiopia is divided into Tewahdo and Kibat. Some have also started tehadso recently. 😁 Also the divisions in Protestant are well known and vast.

Protestant are heretics who believe they are right and they were created in 15thc as they protest against the Catholic church....orthodox on other hand is original faith the apostles held,and the protestant only use the bible(sola scriptura) and they interpret the bible as they want evey individual interprete the bible as they wish,thats why we see many protestant faggots and feminists because they interpret bible as they wish and come to the conclusion that bible actually didn't condemn faggotism and it support feminism when actually it's against both of them.

We both believe in Jesus yes but the difference between us is protestants believe that Christ is amalaj and orthodoxies believe Saint Marry is the amalaj that's where the major difference lies but there are some more like our bible books are less than the orthodox bible and also different beliefs in fasting and stuff
