This is a question for 'atheists' Is it that you don't see a convincing evidence for the existence of God? Or is it that you see an evidence against it? The former is in line with Antony Flew's concept of 'Presumption of Atheism', that atheism should be the default until an evidence for the existence of God surfaces, and that the burden of proof lies on the theists. Or if you agree with the latter, what is your evidence/reason/rational? To put it in other words, is it that you believe there is no God, or is it that you don't believe there is a God, if you see a difference? And do you reject every conception of God (like in deism, pantheism, autotheism, etc.), or is it just theism? In short, what is your stance? And what is your definition of 'Atheism'?
Sep 25, 2020All religions can be disproved using modern evidence. What's incredible is that there isn't just one means of disproving. Christianity, for example, has been wrong regarding creation. It is also a clear copy and amalgam of several religions preceeding it. e.g. The story of jesus isn't even original Horus the egyptian god -Was born from the main god Osiris (every Abrahamic religion ends their prayers by saying Amen, Amin or Aum, all of which are derivatives of Amon, an egyptian god) through a virgin woman on December 25 (the traditionally supposed date of Jesus' birth) -Was baptised by Anup the baptiser who was killed by a sword just like john the baptist -was able to cure diseases and blindness -Was tempted in the desert just like jesus, was able to walk on water -raised a guy called Asar from the dead (jesus raised Lazarus or Alazar) -had 12 disciples -was crucified just like Jesus -was resurrected after 3 days
