Okay I am a dude and I took matric last year and I scored 567 out of 700 which was 320 out of 400 last year endeza neber yeteyazew wtetachin ena I was eligible for saint Paul's entrance exam and I even made it thru the MCAT and failed to attend the interview due to inconvenience. Keza I was placed at AAU (field almeretnm neber after freshman course new field yemimeretew teblo) keza I got a GPA of 3.98 and I was eligible for tikur anbessa MCAT keza I did great in the exam i did even better in the interview and joined med school. This was my experience more or less if u need any help I would be happy to help.😁🙌

Entrance exam will only help you to choose the university u want to join In the new curriculum you will take another test and your first semester gpa and entrance together are used for field choice Some universities also used entrance exam results to minimize number of students who will be eligible to take the test For field choice Entrance exam was only 20% in most universities Test 30% Sgpa(first semester) 50%

If you want a guaranteed entrance to med school you have to score 520 and above. And if you want to get into tikur anbessa you have to work even harder. Also St paulos is a government affiliate med school but there is an entrance exam and from what I hear it is pretty difficult so either way if you are so sure about med school be thoroughly prepared.
