Jun 06, 2022If you have people that can help you settle, go! In Ethiopia, nothing is guaranteed. The rule of "work hard, earn better" doesn't work here. I am not saying everything is easy in USA. But if you are smart and work things that you are really good at, you have a shot at leading a good life in USA. Effort and reward don't go hand in hand in Ethiopia. When I compare the two countries here, I am only referring to materialistic stuffs like becoming financially independent. It is not about being rich mnamn..it is just about having enough amount of money to do what you want and support the your family back in Ethiopia..
