I thinl it's a pretty controversial topic esp in the Orthodox church, some people claim that any song that is non-religious is a sin, but some say it depends on the lyrics, some lyrics are lustful, it might turn you on sexually. Like even songs glorifying women and/or men's physical appearance is sin, even if it's their eyes or their hair. But songs which talk about patriotism and cultural values, friendship aren't. But the other side says that if we go by that way we slowly might deny if those songs are sinful or simplify listening to them, so as Christians, we need to have boundaries and Orthodox fathers and mothers simply say songs are generally sin. And i think that's pretty convincing

Instead of asking is it a sin? we should be asking Does it glorify God? I believe all zefens are not the same for example there are so called "zefens " that talk about unity standing together, not giving up , how beautiful life is ,helping the poor and so on those 'zefens' just makes us aware of what life is really all about so I think those should be okay but if the zefen is talking about stuff that contradicts God's word and if it leads to sinning then it's definitely a sin. We should be picky and very aware of the lyrics we listen to.... As for what the bible says in psalms it's talking about Praising songs

As I am passing through hard times and some melodies make me forgot my situations. That i dont think is sinful. Not Every religious song is holy.
