HELP! So I’m a very liberal person. I believe in equality and fairness and I really dislike bigots and all those pretentious fucks that think they’re holy. I support the 🏳️‍🌈community, sex workers, and all those groups that some of you think are ‘filthy’. I celebrate the individual as they are and hence, I am against organized religion because it suppresses individuals. But I do believe in God, I believe God does exist though I don’t fully believe that ‘he’ is as the church/mosque says he is. I fail to believe that God has a tantrum and gets all destructive when people ‘sin’ my picture of God is a very peaceful, very loving and caring being that has given us life and free will. I don’t think he’d trick is into believing we have free will when in fact, all our life encounters have been predetermined and written down( because that would be unfair, some people would be born pre determined to go to hell and their righteous free will won’t change that because God doesn’t make mistakes). However, I want to be close with God, you know, like be a God fearing person and all. How do I do that outside of religion? The bigotry and hypocrisy in the church is just too much for me and I don’t want to let that be a wedge on my relationship with Christ. Help meee
