1 year ago I was out a lot like clubs (Bole) with my girl friends. There I have brought myself in some uncomfortable situations: 1. a guy at the club kissed me without my consent, after he asked me to go to a different part of the club alone with him 2. another one tried to kiss me in the car 3. One guy manipulated me telling me we would only make out but ended up trying to get more even tho I clearly told him I didn’t want to sleep with him. I stopped going to clubs btw but I still think of these situations. I know now that I was very naive and easy to manipulate, but all these guys still didn’t respect my boundaries or asked for consent. Is it because of my lack of confidence? How can I make sure I never get in such a situation again? Have any other girls similar experiences ?
