But, as a person who lived through the horrors of 97 and the countless horrendous crimes against humanity committed during his regime, I personally can't call him a legend. Meles was an Idealistic, Genius leader. A promising mind, a great leadership capacity. He sure is a legend. He just didn't love Ethiopia. And he used Ethnicity to lead the country. (Biggest mistake ever) Because of this some consider him the worst leader in the History of our country... There literally were peoples that celebrated when he died. 😔 He was this hated by his people but remained in power for 2 decades. he did a lot of things, however, like the ABAY dam and electricity. But Corruption Betttttttttam... He made the system seriously corrupt. But he is also a leader who showed us we are stronger together. Because his idea of divide and rule, even though it persuaded many, made us know we can't be detached. Ethiopians are like huge plastics... strech it, heat it strain it... It just doesn't break!
