What does one got to do to prove the love for his country, sing, talk z talk😂😂? Why is it if someone fights for his freedom, that means he is bent on destroying it?
Sep 15, 2020I would like to tell one story and one saying. Story 1st, so after 2 years or so the TPLF beat the durgue and took control of addis a group of educated people gathered up and set up meeting with the then govt inorder to coordinate with the govt on a peofessionalized economic activities -- including but no limited -- banking, manufacturing, agriculture, stock market, etc. All to be run by technocrats and peofessionals free from political influence. Why? B/c -- as they explained -- serving your country isnt limited to via the barrel of a gun. With a a professionalized economy a strong country can be built and their service would have been that. But alas it didnt happen b/c typical of all marxist (revolutionary democrats😉) the TPLF hated -- still does -- independent institutions it cant control so after 30 years we're back to the same place we were in. All the economic ideas the PM puts forth are not new -- with the exception of the digital ones -- they were proposed 30 years ago but werent implemented. Saying 2nd, የሐገሪቷ ተስፋ የሚሠሩ እጆች ናቸው። It was said a over 100 years ago after the introduction of the 1st telephone line and the elites in power back then understood that it was no longer viable to shun away from the world, either they embrace it or they will be crushed by it. You wanna prove your love for freedom and your country? True freedom is economic freedom thus work and make sure that is acheived. All the current chachatams are stuck in the ideologies formented during 1960s when shit was completely different from the current one. Since they dont want to update their ideology, they instead pull the ppl backwards.
