Most people confuse sapiophile with sapiosexual: Sapiophile is romantic interest in someone who exhibits higher intelligence and that is what most people have. Whereas sapiosexuality is the sexual attraction that emanates from finding intelligence lustful and titillating. I find it ironic though: people think that finding people who have natural facial or bodily beauty wrong while at the same time finding natural intelligence as a quality most delightful. Frankly speaking it is hypocritical.
