First, Read this two very interesting notes: https://www.freecodecamp.org/news/things-i-wish-someone-had-told-me-when-i-was-learning-how-to-code-565fc9dcb329/ and https://techcrunch.com/2014/05/24/dont-believe-anyone-who-tells-you-learning-to-code-is-easy/ . These two will eliminate all the "hyped" theories and all those fellas who says "ኮድ ቀላል ነው" without killing your dream. It is NOT easy to code, but it doesn't have to be easy to do it.
Second, before jumping into anything, have a common understanding about the field and the languages, I recommend https://cs50.harvard.edu/. This is the course every freshman at Harvard takes and is more than satisfactory to understand the field while making you really curious about it. It is a good place to start your coding adventure, ከዛ checkout https://freecodecamp.org/, https://youtube.com/freecodecamp and https://theodinproject.com/. Don't subscribe to too many channels, it is useless. Stick with one instructor of your choice. Check all of them out, my favourite is https://youtube.com/traversymedia because of many things. He will let you know in his channel, highly recommended.
Third, about your Math question: your knowledge about Math depends on which area do you want to focus on. Sure, there are places that you must know Basic Math and all of its sibling, like Algebra, Boolean Algebra, Derivatives, Discrete Math and such, but the advanced version of those are solely depends in your choice. If you are a frontend-developer, knowing a lot of Math is a flex for you. If you are into AI and Machine Learning, math is a must. So, pick out the your field of focus and study accordingly.
Finally, know everything about one programming language before switching to another — since they all are kinda the same, and it helps you understand the concept more and more — there are two beginner-friendly languages: Ruby and Python.
PS: Start with Ruby. When you are in frustration, know that the compiler is always right — this will save you a lot of pain, believe me. And never forget to print out your code every time! Have fun.
