Hey guys, no hate drop your idea. What makes religion so important to follow ? When Religion is rooted in superstition and superstition is ruled by irrational fear. Through history, religion Divides people, Instills fear, causes war, holds back scientific progress. What makes you believe there is an afterlife when there is no slightest evidence about it ?
Apr 17, 2022Who said religion is the cause for all of this? Endiawm world will be better place if we are good believers. Stop listening western propoganda and try to make your own observations bro/sis. And also scientifically not proven doesn't mean it doesn't exist so take care.
Apr 17, 2022Bro i can't tell you about that because every religion is true for their followers and religion is personal if you have time try to read the 3 holy books( the protestant Tewahdo and quran) and you will get something and just follow that you belived
Apr 17, 2022The one and only peaceful, on point argument I saw on this channel. To put my thoughts on this, religion is just an organization that has comparable power to the government tho they work together on the premise they are both getting benefits ,which goes to the point contradicting their own doctrine sometimes. Take Ethiopia for example, a country where religion has a blatant hegemony over the thoughts of more than90% of the population, it's supposed to be peace and all but our contemporary situation tells us that the religion that we hold is a lie and it's just to cover up our hidden real intentions which is our self interest.
Apr 17, 2022I belive that religion can be a great way to manipulate humans thats doesn't make religion itself to be cause of bad things. People just use it to disguise there true agenda. The belief of supernatural God has been served as a base of life since it give us purpose to live for and morality by limiting our unlimited wants. I can surely tell if we are truely religious the world would be paradise. But since it is practically impossible the world is full of cruelty. As Nietzsche said we are killing our beliefs and religions are becoming less and less relevant this days but that only worsen the disorder. Your statment that superstition is ruled by irrational fear is so dull. Since religion is merely superstitious nor ruled by irrational fear you have to understand heaven and hell is not for all religions. Afterall what can i say we have so much unknown than known science even though it really ease human life it is still unable to explain simple things naturally existed. And there is no belief in evidence. If there is evidence that is fact. The problem with you science people is seeking evidence and i see some brilliant religious people try to explain scientifically but that is stupid. Belief doesn't need proof since it is to BELIEVE. If we have evidence why do you think people won't accept. We don't have evidence and we don't need it as we believe
Apr 17, 2022First of all, All human beings are religious regardless of their claim. By which, it's definition is, having a set of beliefs, ideas, theories and moral convictions, they live their life by. Religion is not of the primitive societies solely but also of the developed countries and postmodern men (so basically I don't see it's prohibition of the modern science development). Religion is not acquired, it's innate or inborn. I assume you mean organized religion like Christians, Muslim or Hindu. Religion isn't rooted in superstition as you presume neither ruled by irrational fear as if you're logical on the basis of it. What's inevitable is inevitable. Truth divides. Also we live by Faith not sight. I hope you don't reject the law of gravity because you can't see it. I suggest you read C.S. Lewis, Mere Christianity.
