That's what state supported Capitalism is about. It's called welfare for the rich because the business class(capitalists) is all what the gov't considers as change makers and developers and partners. Everything business endihone yifelegal education, health mnamn without public institutions that the public can afford demo no matter what your GDP is the poor, because they can't work towards upward mobility, wii be poorer and the rich will get richer most of the times. demo despite ppl saying 'sira sira tiga.. 'mnmn shit most of the rich have had an immense luck on their side. I still believe if you work smart and with dedication you can be financially secure gsexcept the psoblem with being poor is you are not in the head space to make good decisions. So egna hager ppl are using the age old methods of upward mobility and marriage and association with government. That's one way to go about it. The other is forming study groups for change like they did in the 60s student movements and starting radical political movements, which who are we kidding we are not going to do. Those students had a different value system than ours.
The third one is being totally devoted with saving, investing, owning property, business and educating ourselves on capital and aim at multi-generational wealth for your grandchildren and stuff. It's fair to say along with non-existent institutions ,we Ethiopians don't have good work ethos. if you see how foreigners work it's basically their life. We used to focus on cultural things gin ahun we focus on neither. We somehow are focusing on pyramid schemes, scamming ppl, pseudoscientific paths to knowledge(ignorance) and pointless first world problems. So I guess the most important thing to do maybe get our shit together.
