Dm has stages of progression like any other diseases and one of it is called honeymoon phase where patient transiently become euglycemic (normal blood glucose level) and in this phase they thought they r cured of their illness but not really...so brother the patient whom u think is cured is not really cured he will still be diabetic weeks to months later So I personally suggest u to have a proper follow up
