I wanted to be a teacher then I wanted to be an engineer then now I wanna be a doctor because my uncle is a doctor and I look up to him and his living conditions are good .. but my older sister is advising me to study stuff like business, marketing cuz she says it's "the future" what do u guys thing ..?

Sep 10, 2020Your sister is awake already brother,hear her out. Even tho you follow your path ,make sure you don't forget reading,attending and craving for business issues from early age. Because that issue is what Ethiopian education system wont tell you.
Sep 10, 2020A fellow doctor here...Ethiopia is not a country for doctors. If you want a good lifestyle, medicine is the hard way to go about it. You can make good money doing lots of other jobs...can't stress this enough, unless you're passionate about being a doctor, don't be one...you'll regret it like lots of us do.

Consider if it is compatible with the life style you want in the future, the leisure time u want to have, the comfort u would like, the way ur relationship with ppl are going to be, the way u will feel that u are always lagging from the world and shit. Do ur research on YouTube and stuff. It has it's good sides but only if u have big realistic plan and strategy

Sep 12, 2020i'd say be what u can be and wht u believe in but make sure it gets u the life u want too fr example if u can perform tricks and if ur ethiopian, street performing wouldn't work fr u but circus will work so make sure u made the right choice with ur talents and all considered
