Now, there is a lot of domino effect in here. why is tplf strong? : 1 TPLF has a lot of money they took from the national bank in foreign currency ...so changing money bills won't change a thing. (Tplf has twice or more the amount of hard currency the federal gov't has according to reports) also they have huge amount of dometic wealth and money too. They know the fedral gov't won't change the bill... cause that'd require a lot of hard currency which the federal gov't lack. 2 key personalities - the former gov't gave people from tgray a lot of key and starategic positions ... an example is the cement market... they can make the economy stumble if they want. 3 military power... there has been a lot of investment on military gadgets as tplf got the money so it won't be easy winning through battle with out a huge collateral damage. It seems tegaru against ethiopia and kinda easy... but remember... 100k people died in a war with eritrea and... eritrea still manage to win the land. This is what tplf took in consideration and stand in the face of the federal gov't without being shy. ....but if the federal gov't play the cards well tplf could wilt in a period. 1 get control of key pro-tplf people in addis. Confisicate their property or force them to work for the federal gov't. 2 Afar is in the hands of the federal gov't...block the road to djbouti and addis!! Tplf has no choice but to spend their dollar and go to sudan... DO diplomacy with sudan and... it's a matter of time b4 tplf goes bankrupt. 3 Play it dirty...and try to assasinate key TPLF leaders (abiy is so good at this) BOTTOM LINE IT'S VERY HARD FOR TGRAY TO BE A COUNTRY BUT IT IS POSSIBLE IF THE FEDERAL GOVERMENT PLAY THE CARDS WRONG.

Its almost impossible to break off and become a country. But even if that why would u want to be ahun layetayeh yechelal but Ethiopia is on her way up and will get there sooner than later. Working together and helping pulling this country up should be the goal. Not ye likochen tesfa machelem. So ya that's where the problem is next yr when they say hold the election the ppl have a choice to make. To move up the food chain or be the same dum African ure ancestors were and fight like animals.
