Aren't the shapes and photos that are on the door of ( Church) and on individual houses count as sth we shouldn't worship? ( your question is so confusing, so tell me if I misunderstood) the answer is right under your eyes eko "በላይ በሰማይ"... means that the stars the planets, the clouds "በታችም በምድር ካለው" means the animals, the mountains,the valleys "በታች በውኃ ካለው", the fishes, the plants over there.... THIS ALL ARE WHAT YOU CAN SEE AND YOU KNOW WHERE THEY ARE LOCATED God is no where, you can't say " this is where he is", so if we see this in a logic mind he is not mentioned In a bible, therefore you can worship him with what ever you want and kneel down. and taking your second scripture, bet ena ber lay yalut "photoweoch" resemble GOD and those who worship them believe only on him! and yeah they resemble The only God they worship nothing more nothing less and there is no wrong to worship in those photos if they bring them closer to God
Mar 30, 2022First thing you should know was the Tent of the Tabernacle and Temple of Jerusalem had well designed embroidery, images and all that; so if you think there is a contradiction you don't have to wait for (Orthodox) Christianity to begin. When reading the bible you should read it and interpret it within the context: actually you should do that with any text. With respect to your question; what those verses were speaking of was 1. Other gods that people at the time worshipped -the Old Testament quote 2. Satan's bargain to be worshipped- the New Testament quote...No where does it prohibit Iconography. Now you may be wondering why Iconography(Orthodox) and Other descriptive arts i.e statues, crucifix (Catholic) abound in the (Traditional)Christian churches. It has to do with their teaching of God revealing Himself-the Invisible becoming Visible through Christ Our Lord and we believing that depict it in art . That's is the theology. Historically, I suspect it has to do with the polytheistic religions going extinct. Christians had no qualms about using depictions of Deity without fear of confusion and idolatry (That's juat my thought, though). Mar 30, 2022የስግደት ዓይነቶችና አፈጻጸማቸው ስግደት ሰው አምልኮቱንና ተገዥነቱን ለመግለጥ ራሱን ዝቅ አድርጎ ግንባሩን መሬት በማስነካት ለፈጣሪው ተገዥነቱን የሚገልጽበት ተግባር ነው። ለዚህም መሠረቱ "ለጌታ ለአምላክህ ስገድ" "በቅድስናው ስፍራ ለእግዚአብሔር ስገዱ" ዘዳ 6፥13 ፤ ማቴ 4፥10 ፤ መዝ 28፥2 የሚለው ነው። እንዲህ ያለውም ስግደት የአምልኮት ስግደት ይባላል። የሚቀርበውም ለአምላክ ብቻ ነው። 4፥10 ለአምላክ የሚቀርብ ስግደትም በእውነትም በመንፈስም መሆን ይገባዋል። ዮሐ 4፥24። ስግደት ከሚቀርብለት አላማ አንጻር በሦስት ይከፈላል ፡፡ 1. የአምልኮ ስግደት (Latria) ይህ ስግደት "ለጌታ ለአምላክህ ስገድ እርሱንም ብቻ አምልክ" ማቴ 4 የሚለውን አምላካዊ ቃል መሰረት በማድረግ ለፈጣሪ የሚቀርብ ስግደት ነው። ቤተክርስቲያንም "ለአብ ለወልድ ለመንፈስ ቅዱስ አንዲት ስግደት እሰግዳለው" እያለች ከማንም ጋር የማይወዳደር እና የማይነጻጸር ልዩ የአምልኮን ስግደት ለፈጣሪዋ ብቻ ታቀርባለች። ከቅዱስ ዳዊት ጋርም ሆና "ለተቀረጸ ምስል የሚሰግዱ ሁሉ በጣኦቶዎቻቸውም የሚመኩ ይፈሩ መላእክቱ ሁሉ ስገዱለት" እያለች ለጣኦት መስገድ አሳፋሪ ተግባር መሆኑን ትመሰክራለች፡፡ ለፈጣሪ በሚያቀርቡት ያማረ የአምልኮ ስግደትም መላእክቱን ምሳሌ በማድረግ ልጆቿን "በእውነት እና በመንፈስ እንዲሰግዱ" ታስተምርባቸዋለች መዝ 97፥7፡፡ 2. የጸጋ ስግደት (Dulia) ይህ የስግደት አይነት ደግሞ ለእመቤታችንና እግዚአብሔር ላከበራቸው፤ ጸጋ እግዚአብሔርን ላገኙ ቅዱሳን ሁሉ የሚሰገድ የጸጋ ስግደት ነው፡፡ ቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም ፣ ቅዱስ መስቀል ፣ ቅዱሳን መላእክት ፣ ሰማዕታት ፣ ፃድቃን ፣ ቅዱሳን ፣ ቅድስት ቤተ ክርስቲያን ፣ ቅዱሳን ቦታዎች ፣ ታቦት ፣ ቅዱሳት ንዋያት እዚህ ውስጥ የሚካተቱ ናቸው፡፡ 3. የአክብሮት ስግደት ይህ ስግደት ለባልስልጣናትና ለዕድሜ ባለጸጋዎች የምንሰግደው (የትህትና) ስግደት ነው።
