Hello there! The question goes for for medical students and physicians in here. If you didn't join medicine,what would you be today (for MD) and what would you be studying(medical students) and also have you ever regretted for joining? Females participations are appreciated
Mar 19, 2022I'm a medical student. And yeah, I regret my decision to join medical school. I surely didn't know what I was getting myself into. I knew it was many years. But I wasn't sure I had the commitment to keep myself going for that long. And I didn't know if these many years are worth it. From what I have understood so far, I have no dedication to be motivated for these many years, and it is not worth at all. If it wasn't medicine, I would have probably joined some Engineering field, especially Bioengineering. It was what was said about Engineering fields in Ethiopia that tricked me to follow this path.
Mar 20, 2022Med student, female. Probably some medical field idk what gen maybe HO? Biomedical engineering? Idk gen ik i cant do another field Yes everyone regrets it when they are stressed but at the end of the day theres no better place for me to be and im happy here.
