Like if u fail general math and there is applied math 1 on the next semester you will have to contact the math department to know whether it's prerequisite or not.. it general math is prerequisite for applied math 1 then you must drop applied math 1 and add it after adding general math but if general math isn't prerequisite for applied math 1 then you shall learn applied math 1 on the semester that it's given then you will add general math when you can...
