Admins Pls, approve my question Are we(this generation) going to start thinking logically or we going to listen our elders and go through their hateful thinking... For example Is there anyone from the Oromo ethnicity who's look forward to the future rather than expressing hate Minilik...Or anyone from the Amhara Ethnicity that accept Minilik also did some mistakes... Or any Tigriyan that accepts TPLF have made a mess... We always appreciate our ancestors for giving as a nation that passed from suppression of enemy force,When are we going to blame them for the hate they were always putting inside us? Will there be a time we'd start thinking about Ethiopia?

I admire all the good intentions above, but I feel like most of us here are from the cities and usually aren't victims of this race cliche ,which would fit the saying " yalteneka gilgil...." . Your intentions are totally right but the blaming game ,calling people segete n shit and expecting change over night is like waiting for a tree which was been through drought for years to give you fruits the minute it rains. So let's be patient, let's look inside out and outside in, let's accept that everyone didn't have the same educational and societal privileges like we had ,let's admit at times we have been part of the problem unintentionally with simple things like race related jokes and be a better version of ourselves who is going to read a lot, who listens before he speaks, who tries to understand rather than judge and who is patient and educated enough to teach our "poisoned peers"

The thing is the blame is on us too until we stop blaming them and act. We can only take responsibility for what we do. Its good to realize the hate we have been fed but how many of us are willing to act against it? If we don't act against it and simply blame the ones before us well the blame is on us 🤷‍♂. So let's try to change not in words but from the heart. If our generation wasn't so ready to accept the hate being fed then the feeders wouldn't even exist. Because our atmosphere in our personalities and hearts is clouded with hate we have an racial and hating atmosphere in the politics and society.

Yeah. All of us should try to focus on the future now. I agree with you. I mean we are still a poor country and I'm sure millions have much worse problems that can't be ignored. We need to fix that. We have to get passed this stage, let's not continue the seemingly generational hate and focus on developing our country. Yemir. We Ethiopians clinge on past history. I mean knowing history is great and being proud of it, using it as a motivation or learning from it is one thing. But imagine, we're killing eachother cause "before hundreds of years something happened" and we can't even prove it right. I've never seen any country clinging on past history or making it an issue. As my opinion, history is just an history, it means 'it is over'. The worst thing about it is.... "How should we accept both bad things and nice things together?" and "How should we fix all this?" And also the worst thing I hate is,... Connecting king, Rulers and Ministries with Nation because:- Kings might be bad, but Nation still exist Kings are Mortal, Nation doesn't So as my opinion, we all should stand for Nation than worshipping Motherfucking Rulers.
