Hey guy's, ye Tigray Orthodox church temeserete eyetebale new slezi mn tasbalachu specially for Tigraway what are your thoughts about the church, I am very sad to hear this
Feb 08, 2022Really sad to hear this too , we're on the time which this country's political issues are not good and where innocent people are harmed, why the f**k all try to be one together why tf
Feb 09, 2022I think this is the consequences of our church's involvement in politics, I feel sad and with the best to come
Feb 09, 2022As a person from Orthodox Tewahedo Christian, there is no need to be sad and has no ecclesiastical effect on oir churches. Inasmuch as the church is not separated for doctrinal reason, it has no bad outcome on our holy apostolic church. First of all, It is Tigray Clergy(ቤተክህነት), not autocephalous church. So that's okay and it is a good apostolic opportunity for ministry in Tigray. If Tigray Orthodox Church is formed, it means that they ordain their own Patriarch separately from the Ethiopia and it is still not happened. Even if it is happened, it doesn't matter. I'm personally happy that clergy of Tigray is formed by Archbishops in Tigray dioceses. May God be with them all the time.
Feb 09, 2022From a non-Christian perspective, I see this as a very sad result of the church's involvement with politics. When it could be a uniting force, it's now becoming a means of dividing into us and them, we and they. I'm really scared of this phenomenon spreading across all the other religions. We don't need any further reason to separate us. We are all aware of the fact that we are from different races and have different views, but there's really no reason for us to be put into different groups or be called names for things we cannot change or for non-lasting contemporary issues.
Feb 09, 2022This is just "placebo", no need to worry.
