How is time the 4th dimension?
Aug 08, 2020I think it is like past present and future...the three dimensions are x,y and z extending in both negative and positive directions so the extension of time will be like to the past and to the future...

Aug 08, 2020Well as u know before the big bang the universe had 9 spatial dimensions and 1 temporal dimension (time) were tied up together....then after the big bang 4 of them were untangled, which we know as height, width, depth and time were deployed and the other 6 are still miniscule....so to answer ur question that makes time the 4th dimension....although this is just a theory, string theory to be precise
