Aug 07, 2020actually i asked my family this question once and they told me that the mother is always known as the baby's mother because she carried her baby for 9 months and but nobody will know the father (unless they are married or together) so our that is the way of making the baby's father to be known as the father.we will put the father's name just to know who he is .i don't know if i described it well tho bit it has a reason to it all.
