I don't like this country but colonisarion would have been the death of us, I say this because their colonisation is built on the fascism principle or they thought that they were the greates race and that africans were animals who were only useful for labour. They also had a a colonisation method called divide and conquer where they would use the internal differences like race and religion to pitch the people against each other and with the racial and religious differences in our country it would have been unpleasant and deadly And their plan wasn't to help us but to use our resources they built roads and infrastructure just to make it easier for them to rule. And finally they would have stolen the most important thing in a persons life IDENTITY they would have colonised our brains and would have made us sheep But the sad thing is the very thing our ancestors fought for has been corrupted tgey fought for freedom but we are enslaved, they fought fascism but it is the state of things, the country fought for independence but the people are not free This is why i hate the country

Italy has never colonized Ethiopia......but has occupied it for five years it is called occupied cause Ethiopians always resisted it throught out the five years...such brave souls if you ask me!!. .... Yes if we had been colonized by Italy we would be in a better place....but this better place would have come through segregation, loss of culture and identity, genocide by Italy whenever they feel like it, very intense oppression etc and more importantly you should know that resistance would have come sooner or later .....you would get it if you see movies like roots, and the system apartied in south africa...you're just saying this cause you live in a country which is never colonized you don't understand the real deal with racism and oppression so you should consider yourself lucky😉👍

Hey, I have asked that question since I was in middle school, but I really can't find a satisfying answer to that. Lately though, I realized it'd not have made as much of a difference since we'd have been as problematic as we are now. Maybe we'd have had a bit more infrastructure or technology, but those Italians would have screwed us up, as they n the other Europeans did with the other countries. So it's a bit inconclusive to my knowledge, but good question👍. I'd love to hear other people's opinion to this question.

Okay u can look at this from many different angles and the value u give to life and the value u give to money can determine whether we should have been colonized or not. If we considered life because we resisted colonization we sparked many revolutions and enabled us to be an independent African nation which could support other africans saving many future generations from a life of slavery...if we didn't win many countries would still be in slavery and the lives of black people would be equal to that of animals.... Then there is there is the money way in order for Italy to extract resources it would have built some infrastructure that enabled it to exploit our resources better and efficiently but how would that benefit us if we are not able to use them by being slaves in the end Ethiopia took the best route to be the first that initiated many more and we should be proud of that !....atleast these are my thoughts🤷‍♂
