During this lockdown I am using my PC for more than 12 hour a day and I think it's starting to affect my vision. What do you guys recommend to keep my eyes safe without minimising the hours.

Jun 25, 2020You should worry more about how close you sit to the screen and not the brightness that much. Decrease the brightness to the lowest u're comfortable with and there's a 20 20 20 method for ur sight. Use ur PC for 20 minutes then watch something 20 ft away for 20 seconds. This is because when u stare at ur PC for long, ur eye muscles start to weaken because they're always fixed in one place and you'll get short sighted if it continues

Jun 25, 2020Starring at ur screen doesn't affect your vision, but if u are using it in a dark room it's pretty bad coz ur eye has to adjust the changes of colour and brightness of the movie u are watching or whatever you are doing, so make sure there is enough light in your room and use blue light filter at night.
