Jun 23, 2020The reason we repent for a priest is not because we need an intervention, sure God will forgive u if u rly rly are truly sorry abt what u did and regret it. But the reason we need priest is that we human am also speaking for myself here are scared abt what people would think abt z things we did wrong instead of worrying what wrong we did to God. Jun 24, 2020I've decided to answer to this because I found it an odd coincidence that I see this a couple of hours after talking to my nesiha abat over the phone and confessing to some sins that have bothered me lately. My point is you could repent over the phone, it's allowed. If you don't have a nesiha abat for yourself that might be difficult but am sure if your family is also an Orthodox am sure yebeteseb yinorachuhal so talk to your family and get a phone number it's safer that way.
