First of all, if you don't v a passion or an interest(atleast a little) in a specfic field, it's hard to become successful in that field, especially in computer science. CS is a huge n bulky field of study, it has a lot of sub-fields with in it. My advice is try to see every single of it and choose the one that most interested you(Google n Youtube is ur best friends, u can find any resources n tutorials) if u are interested in programming dig about it, if ur interested in AI n ML learn about it and so on, CS is all about solving problems. But mind this "you don't have to be a jack in everything", choose one n stick on it. And also the technology is changing everyday,so u have to run with it, learn everyday(never give up). As a first year student it can become difficult and frustrating, but that is normal, u'd love it once u really start doing it. When u feel like just giving up find inspiration of successful peoples in CS and Technology and learn how they become successful. "Everbody knows nothing when they begin". Finally, u have to answer this question for urself, "do u wanna work for a company or do u wanna create ur own company?" If u choose the first one work on ur Grades or if u choose the second one work on your skills, have a creative mind. As i told u, cs is all about solving problems so having a Business mind also will help u in a long run.
